The Spirit -Ahnsahnghong

We believe in Christ Ahnsahnghong and God the Mother!
The Spirit
"What happens to a man when he dies?"..."Does a man really have a spirit?"... "Where does a man go when he dies?" Questions such as these have been a matter of great interest throughout history, but no one has been able to answer them. Men eager to find such answers wrote great philosophies, but mere philosophers could never realize how they had been created.

Christ Ahnsahnghong came to the earth, established the Church of God, and taught us that all men are angels who have come to the earth after sinning in heaven. He let us know how valuable we are and revealed to us the true purpose of our lives.

The Spirit Revealed Through the Creation of Human Beings
Gen. 2:7 『...The LORD God formed the man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.』

The dust is not the essence of life; God didn't name the dust itself a "living being." Only after God had breathed the breath of life into the dust, did He call it a "living being." Therefore, the essence of life is not the flesh, but the breath of life, the spirit that God breathed into the dust. Man's flesh is made from the dust, but his spirit is made by God, and is from God.

Solomon wrote, "The dust returns to the ground it came from, and the spirit returns to God who gave it" (Eccl. 12:7).

Joyful members! The World Mission Society Church of God has joyful members!

The World Mission Society Church of God has joyful members!

One of the most amazing things about the World Mission Society Church of God is that everybody is so joyful and so happy! When asked how everybody is so joyful and happy, it’s because they know for sure that they have eternal life and are gauranteed to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. In John 6:54 Jesus Christ said, ” Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life and I will raise him up at the last day.” This is such an amazing promise of God! Many think that this is communion or sacrement or eucharist, but what those people fail to realize is that you cannot find that anywhere in the Bible. That was made up by a man named Roman Emperor Constantine who abolished the true Feast in the Bible called the Passover! Only on the Passover night did Jesus Christ promise that the Bread and Wine would turn into his flesh and blood at the appointed time. According to Matthew 26:(17-19) it says, “On the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Where do you want us to make preparations for you to eat the Passover?” He replied, “Go into the city to a certain man and tell him, ‘The Teacher says: My appointed time is near. I am going to celebrate the Passover with my disciples at your house.’ ” So the disciples did as Jesus had directed them and prepared the Passover.” Then what did he give on the Passover Night? It says in Matthew 26:(26-27), “While they were eating, Jesus took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to his disciples, saying, “Take and eat; this is my body.”Then he took the cup, gave thanks and offered it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.” Then according to the Bible the only night that Jesus Christ gave his flesh and blood was on the Pasover night through the Passover bread and wine. This year the Passover is on March 29, 2010! It is the most important Feast in order to receive the promise of eternal life. Only the World Mission Society keeps this Feast according to the Bible!

Put off your old self, and put on the new self-

Put off your old self, and put on the new self

Romans 11 likens us, who remain in God, to the wild olive branches grafted into the true olive tree. Some other verses show that we are in the process of putting off our old self and putting on the new self.

Eph 4:17-24 『So I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord, that you must no longer live as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thinking. They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts. Having lost all sensitivity, they have given themselves over to sensuality so as to indulge in every kind of impurity, with a continual lust for more. You, however, did not come to know Christ that way. Surely you heard of him and were taught in him in accordance with the truth that is in Jesus. You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.』

The above verses state that we must no longer live as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thinking. We are to live a different life than that of the Gentiles. Satan makes all kinds of crafty schemes to plant the Gentiles's hope and desire in our hearts. However, if we give in to the temptation of Satan and become assimilated into the world, we go against God's will and become cut off from the true olive tree.

Everything about us, including our nature, thoughts, and lifestyle, should be changed. Our "old self" mentioned in the book of Ephesians means our original nature as the wild olive branches. When we remove our old self, we can become one with the true olive tree, as part of it.

The Bible clearly tells us what pleases God, the true olive tree. We should all be changed and please God by devoting ourselves to preaching the gospel, obeying God's will willingly, loving God's commandments, respecting and loving everything that belongs to God, and so on.

It is said that parents like the child who more closely resembles them. We must resemble God in full. Since God is pleased with the salvation of all human beings, we should also be pleased with their salvation and preach the gospel diligently, so that we can lead all mankind to the kingdom of heaven. With this spirit of faith, we must become one with God.

Now, many of our brothers and sisters in Zion throughout the world preach the gospel of God joyfully despite the scorching heat. They are all beautiful, resembling God. Until the day when the glory of Father and Mother resounds throughout the whole earth and the universe, let us put off our old self and put on the new self, so that our original nature as the wild olive branches can be changed into the nature of the true olive tree. Then we can be said to have been reborn and changed. I earnestly hope that you all bear much good fruit and receive the abundant blessings of the Holy Spirit, so that you will become a royal priesthood to rule over the nations in the kingdom of God.

Earthly desires are changed into heavenly hope - Ahnsahnghong

Earthly desires are changed into heavenly hope

Before we met God, we lived simple lives, having only a limited time to live. If we didn't meet God, we would live without any hope, get older gradually while working so hard to make a living, and end our lives after lamenting the vanity and emptiness of life in the face of impending death.

Our lives have totally changed since we met God. Before meeting God, we set our minds on secular things, but everything changed after we met God. We are now called differently than before, aren't we? Previously we had no title, but since we met God we've received the titles "gospel workers" and "Christians," and even the honorable title of "Elohists." God has prepared much greater blessings for us in heaven.

Rev 2:25-29 『"Only hold on to what you have until I come. To him who overcomes and does my will to the end, I will give authority over the nations—‘He will rule them with an iron scepter; he will dash them to pieces like pottery'—just as I have received authority from my Father. I will also give him the morning star. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches."』

If we just hoped for earthly things such as running a business and having our own house on this earth before we met God, now we've come to have a much greater hope beyond comparison after meeting God. It is the hope for heaven; we have a desire to become a royal priesthood to rule over the nations in the kingdom of heaven. God has granted us a wider view so that we can see the whole universe.

Those who are ambitious on this earth dream of becoming a CEO of a company or President of a country. However, even if they acquire such a position after all their efforts throughout their lives, they cannot hold it for a long time, nor can they enjoy the pleasure and peace that they've expected. Outwardly it seems to be splendid, but in actuality it is accompanied by many hardships.

The authority of the kingdom of heaven is basically different in quality from the authority of the earth. The kingdom of heaven, where we who have met God are going to, is an eternal world where there is no pain or sorrow—where a new joy is created every day. God has promised to give us authority over the nations in the beautiful and eternal kingdom of heaven. God never lies. Although people in the world do not recognize us and we may seem very weak to them, everything will be so different when we go to the kingdom of heaven.

If we want to enter such a glorious kingdom of God, we need to give up our original identity as the branches of the wild olive tree. The Bible calls it "rebirth" to remove our nature as sinners. "No one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again" (Jn 3:3). By saying this Jesus meant that we cannot enter the kingdom of heaven unless we are reborn as God's true children who have the divine nature after giving up our original nature as the branches of the wild olive tree.

We, who have met Elohim, are being changed from the wild olive branches into the branches of the true olive tree. Instead of putting our hope in earthly things, we should have great hope for heaven. God has promised to give us authority over the nations just as He reigns as King of kings and Lord of lords in the kingdom of God. Cherishing this promise of God deep within our hearts, we should run straight towards the goals above.

Peter's life before he met God, and his life after he met God

Peter, before he met God, was merely a fisherman who caught fish for a living. He lived an aimless life, working every day for himself rather than for the benefit of others. However, after he met Christ, there were a lot of changes in his life.

Mt 4:17-20 『From that time on Jesus began to preach, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near." As Jesus was walking beside the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon called Peter and his brother Andrew. They were casting a net into the lake, for they were fishermen. "Come, follow me," Jesus said, "and I will make you fishers of men." At once they left their nets and followed him.』

2 Pe 1:1-3 『Simon Peter, a servant and apostle of Jesus Christ, To those who through the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ have received a faith as precious as ours . . . His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.』

Peter's life after he met Jesus was totally different from his life before he met Jesus. His title changed from a "fisherman" to an "apostle." Before meeting God, he was only worried about how much fish he would catch each day. After meeting God, however, he thought about how many people he would have to lead into salvation. He lived a life of joy every day, having hope in God's promises and wishing to join the "royal priesthood" (1 Pe 2:9). Even though his body sometimes felt tired and exhausted, he had hope.

It was not only Peter who changed. Apostle Paul also became a totally different person after he met God. Just as the apostles changed so much, we've also gone through a lot of changes. Before we met God, we were the wild olive branches, but after we met God we've been grafted into the true olive tree and become part of it. So, we need to have our dreams and future with the true olive tree; God's hope should be our hope, and God's desire should be our desire.

Our selfish nature is changed into God's divine nature so that we can hope for the salvation of all mankind

It is the salvation of all human beings that God, the true olive tree, has always desired. The Bible says that the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost (Lk 19:10), and that the purpose of His second coming to this earth is also to save the world (Heb 9:28). So, we should try our hardest to save the whole world. Then we can be said to have received the nature of the true olive tree.

Mk 1:35-38 『Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed. Simon and his companions went to look for him, and when they found him, they exclaimed: "Everyone is looking for you!" Jesus replied, "Let us go somewhere else—to the nearby villages—so I can preach there also. That is why I have come."』

Christ had hope and concern for the task of saving the world. For this, He used to pray early in the morning, and never stopped preaching the gospel. The enthusiasm of God, who decided to save the world and put on flesh, has been transplanted into our hearts, so we are now making our best efforts to carry out the gospel work in our own mission field, aren't we?

If we lived for worldly things before we met God, we should now proceed toward the everlasting kingdom of heaven since we have met God. Studying God's word every day, we should change ourselves in a manner pleasing to God, so that we can fully become assimilated into God. We need to remove our sinful dispositions one after another and accept the nature of God, letting God's thoughts become our thoughts, God's joy our joy, and God's desire our desire. Then God will remain in us, and we in Him.

We must not go back to the way we used to be before we met God. We are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who believe and are saved (Heb 10:38-39); we have been born again since we met God.

God has led us to Him and given us the laws of the new covenant—the Sabbath, the Passover, etc. Telling us to keep His covenant and obey His commandments, God has asked us to change everything about us into that of Him. He has told us to do so in order to redeem us and not to oppress or burden us; for we, the wild olive branches grafted into the true olive tree, will decay and die in the end unless we receive the nature of the true olive tree. Since we are grafted into the true olive tree, we should be fully supplied with sap from the root of the true olive tree and possess the nature of the tree.

Jesus said, "Apart from me, you can do nothing" (Jn 15:5). If we turn away from the teachings of God, it is like a fish leaves the water and like the branches grafted into the true olive tree are cut off from the tree.

Church of God believe in Elohim God!

Before and After Meeting God - Ahnsahnghong

Before and After Meeting God
Now the young adults like the dew of the dawn are arising and coming to willingly devote themselves to God. I earnestly hope that they bear the fruits of the Holy Spirit abundantly with their youthful ambitions and burning faith. I also desire that all the members of Zion—female adults, male adults, youth students, children and senior adults, who display God's glory, receive the blessing of bearing much good fruit.

We've gone through a lot of changes before and after meeting God. Now, let's take some time to reflect on how much we have changed since we met God and what the differences are in our lives before and after meeting God, by reviewing the words of the Bible.

Wild olive branches that are grafted into the true olive tree

Before we met God, we were sinners living as slaves to death. The Bible likens us, who have been born again into eternal life after meeting God, to the "grafted branches."

Ro 11:16-24 『If the part of the dough offered as firstfruits is holy, then the whole batch is holy; if the root is holy, so are the branches. If some of the branches have been broken off, and you, though a wild olive shoot, have been grafted in among the others and now share in the nourishing sap from the olive root, do not boast over those branches. If you do, consider this: You do not support the root, but the root supports you. You will say then, "Branches were broken off so that I could be grafted in." Granted. But they were broken off because of unbelief, and you stand by faith. Do not be arrogant, but be afraid. For if God did not spare the natural branches, he will not spare you either. Consider therefore the kindness and sternness of God: sternness to those who fell, but kindness to you, provided that you continue in his kindness. Otherwise, you also will be cut off. And if they do not persist in unbelief, they will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again. After all, if you were cut out of an olive tree that is wild by nature, and contrary to nature were grafted into a cultivated olive tree, how much more readily will these, the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree!』

In terms of botany, "grafting" means attaching part of one plant to the root or stem of another plant so that the two grow together as one. A branch that is grafted into another tree loses its original identity and becomes part of the organism to which it has been joined.

The Bible likens our relationship with God to a tree and its branches, and emphasizes that we can do nothing apart from God (Jn 15:1-5). Especially, the book of Romans portrays our organic union with God by speaking of grafting. This reminds us that we should throw off our old nature as sinners and change to resemble God's nature.

As for the same kind of species, the better quality species are described by an additional term "true," but the bad ones by "wild." It is the same with an olive tree. There are two kinds of olive trees: a true olive tree of good quality, and a wild olive tree of bad quality. We, the branches of the wild olive tree, are grafted into God, the true olive tree. Since we cannot return to the eternal kingdom of heaven with our original identity, we have been grafted into God and reborn into eternal life.

The well-grafted branches resemble the nature of the true olive tree. Supplied with sap and good nutriment from the true olive tree, the shape of the fruits becomes better and they become strong enough to defend themselves against insects and diseases.

This Is the Age When God the Mother Is Needed - God the Mother (WMS)

This Is the Age When God the Mother Is Needed
"Mother" has been one of the hottest topics in the mass media since last year when the whole world plunged into economic recession. It is "Mother" that comes to mind first when people are having a hard time. It is human nature to think that once they come to "Mother," there is always something abundant that enables them to find a solution to their problems as well as comfort for their souls.

Sociologists analyze that this is the age of chaos and discord and the world needs feminism—especially motherhood—more than ever. All the prophecies of the Bible also definitely state that we need the love of "Mother" and live in the age when God the Mother is urgently needed.

Mother, the key to a solution for every problem

In all ages and countries, the role of a mother is almost the same. When a quarrel occurs among children in a family, it is their mother who arbitrates between them in that quarrel. She stops their quarreling, reminds them of brotherly love, judges what is right and what is wrong to establish order and discipline among them, and instructs them not to fight again.

A mother is not only a mediator of peace but also a wise housekeeper. When her family is in an economically difficult situation, she tightens the belt and manages the family finances efficiently, reducing expenses and not wasting money on unnecessary things. By doing this, she feeds her children and provides clothing for them. She is the best manager in the family business.

To put it simply, a mother is the solver of all the problems that occur in her family. Although there is no reward or compensation for her, she is pleased when her children live in harmony and considers that as a recompense for all the efforts she has made up until now.

There are so many problems in this age we live in. As Jesus prophesied 2,000 years ago, discord between peoples and nations is occurring in all parts of the world and the world's economy is falling apart.

Mt 24:3-8 『As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. "Tell us," they said, "when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?" Jesus answered: ". . . Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains."』

Lk 21:34-36 『"Be careful, or your hearts will be weighed down with dissipation, drunkenness and the anxieties of life, and that day will close on you unexpectedly like a trap. For it will come upon all those who live on the face of the whole earth. Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man."』

Jesus Christ said the above words when the disciples asked Him about the sign of His second coming and the end of the age. "The anxieties of life" mean "worries about economic difficulties." Every family may face financial difficulties occasionally. However, the anxieties of life which the Bible prophesies about do not only refer to the financial difficulties in individual families but to the economic crisis occurring throughout the world.

Since the beginning of the new year 2009, the conflicts between peoples and nations have been getting more severe. Moreover, the whole world is facing a financial crisis. All these critical situations or phenomena are caused by lack of motherhood in human society. In this prophetic age, who can help mediate conflicts among countries and find a solution to the global economic crisis?

When a family gets into quarrels or financial difficulties, the mother solves the problems. Likewise, it is God the Mother who the world urgently needs now. When the power of Mother is at work in the lives of people, the world will be peaceful and all the difficult problems will be solved.

God has created a new thing

Mother is love; She is the source of life and wisdom. Mother is the giver of peace who terminates all conflict and strife and the possessor of an indomitable spirit and sacrifice who patiently endures all hardships; She is the way, the truth, the hope and the object of faith for Her children.

God the Father has led the work of salvation for us for a long time, and now is the time for God the Mother to lead all the work of salvation. God has created a new thing on earth—what is to be done through God the Mother.

Jer 31:21-22 『" . . . How long will you wander, O unfaithful daughter? The LORD will create a new thing on earth— a woman will surround a man."』

Here, the word "surround" is translated as "protect" in Today's English Version (TEV). From traditional society to this modern society, it has been generally recognized that women are weak and need to be protected and men should protect women. If a woman is able to protect a man, it is not as a weak "woman," but as a "mother" who has the strong power of love.

In other words, the above prophecy shows us that a "new thing" God the Father will create is to reveal God the Mother in the world, who will protect human beings, carry them in Her arms and lead them to salvation.

In the past, women were considered as property of men, but the rights of women were gradually expanded and their social participation became active, and there have been plenty of female presidents and prime ministers in the world. This historical trend or periodic phenomenon is related to the providence of God. As God the Father has created a new thing on earth, the work of managing the world depends on God the Mother. A mother raises her children, manages her family business, mediates conflicts between her children, instructs them to live in peace rather than quarrel and to be considerate of each other rather than to be in conflict. By doing this, she leads her family. In the same way, it is God the Mother who leads the global family; all humans, as members of the global family, need God the Mother in this age.

Just as every problem that a family is going through is solved when a mother intervenes, all the serious problems that human beings are facing can be solved when God the Mother is received by all people. Now people hate one another, and terrorism and strife arise frequently around the world.

However, if the teachings of God the Mother, along with Her spirit, infiltrate the minds of all human beings, numerous conflicts will be solved and it will bring about true peace which everyone desires.

Those who participate in the divine nature of God the Mother

As the children of Zion, we should guide all people around the world to the right path with the spirit of God the Mother. Now, let's take a look at some relevant teachings of the Bible.

2 Pe 1:3-11 『 . . . so that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires. For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. But if anyone does not have them, he is nearsighted and blind, and has forgotten that he has been cleansed from his past sins. Therefore, my brothers, be all the more eager to make your calling and election sure. For if you do these things, you will never fall, and you will receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.』

Faith, goodness, knowledge, self-control, perseverance, godliness, brotherly kindness, and love—all these virtues are the spirit of faith that God the Mother wants Her children to have. "Consider others better than yourselves." "Serve one another." When we inscribe these teachings of Mother on our hearts and put them into practice, we will be able to achieve all the virtues stated above one after another and participate in the divine nature.

Without the change of our personality, we cannot bear any God-pleasing fruit and will finally fall away from the faith. The people of Zion who abide in the truth of the new covenant should have the divine nature. With the divine nature, we should go to all people around the world, preach to them the good news of salvation through God the Mother, and give their hearts peace and comfort. The good news that brings peace is the good tidings described in Isaiah 40, that is, the gospel.

Now the world is earnestly seeking God the Mother. Let us go quickly into the world and let all the people know about God the Mother who dwells in Zion, so that in 2009 we can bear heavenly fruits abundantly and bring them into the barn of Zion. In order to do this, we should resemble the heart of Mother.

1 Jn 4:7-21 『Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. . . . Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us. . . . And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him. . . . We love because he first loved us. If anyone says, "I love God," yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen. And he has given us this command: Whoever loves God must also love his brother.』

God is love. Of course, love is also inherent in men, and God the Father is love, too. However, as the word "love" is regarded as feminine in all countries, God has planted the greatest love in the world, in the whole universe, into the heart of Mother. The One whom the whole world needs the most now is God the Mother who is "love" itself.

1 Jn 3:1-14 『How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. Dear friends, now we are children of God, . . . This is the message you heard from the beginning: We should love one another. Do not be like Cain, who belonged to the evil one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his own actions were evil and his brother's were righteous. Do not be surprised, my brothers, if the world hates you. We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love our brothers. Anyone who does not love remains in death.』

The Bible says that since we are children of God, we should love one another. When we yield to each other, compliment one another and practice love, following the teachings of Mother, people in the world will recognize that there are the true teachings of Mother that enable us to do so and will seek the heavenly Mother, won't they?

So the Bible says that the beautiful acts of the saints become ornaments on the fine linen of the Bride (Isa 49:14-18; Rev 19:7-8). We, people of Zion, should become the salt and light of the world, so that all people in the world can be convinced of the existence of God the Mother through our good deeds.

The world is changed by the love of Mother

When we just hear the word "Mother," tears well up in our eyes and we feel a lump in our throats and our hearts begin to throb. It is probably because of the warm and gentle characteristics of Mother. Characterized by sacrifice, love and peace, Mother leads and protects all Her children with great care.
Love is the greatest characteristic of Mother. We should learn Her love.

1 Co 13:1-13 『If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, . . . If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, . . . If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing. Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. . . . And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.』

Let us save the world with love, following the teachings of Jerusalem our heavenly Mother. If all people in the world have the heart of Mother, there will be true peace on the earth. They will be filled with faith and hope for heaven, living in harmony and being devoted to one another in brotherly love. While they are doing so, the work of repentance to return to the eternal heavenly home will occur all around the world.

For this, we should first be born again. As the people of Zion, we should put off our old self and be reborn in Father's law of truth and Mother's law of love. In these difficult economic times, we should encourage one another with love and build each other up in faith; at home, husbands and wives are to help and support each other. By doing this, we should go towards the kingdom of God together, enduring patiently with the hope for heaven. To our family members who do not have faith in God yet, let's give much encouragement, and let them know that the kingdom of God is a place where there is no hardship or quarrel but only joy and happiness overflow every day.

Many people are frustrated and disheartened because they think there is no other world than this one—there is no life after death. However, viewed from the universe, this earth is nothing but a tiny grain of dust. God has chosen us who live in such a low and humble place and made us heavenly royal priests and promised us eternal life in heaven, along with the heavenly blessings and rewards that will last forever.

Now there is a continuous wailing over economic difficulties, conflict and terrorism. We live in an age when God the Mother is needed. In every way, the world urgently needs the love of God the Mother. At just the right time, God the Mother has come, and calls Her children.

Rev 22:17 『The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And let him who hears say, "Come!" Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life.』

The Holy Spirit is God the Father, and the Bride is the Wife of the Father. Therefore, She is God our Mother. Now, we, children of God, should preach to the whole world the good news that God the Mother has come to this earth, and whoever hears the message must come to Zion without hesitation and receive God the Mother. God is leading this new work and creating a new world. God the Mother embraces the whole world and leads all people with Her love. This new thing is now being done.

Whoever believes in Mother and follows Her teachings will reach the eternal world where there is no conflict or hardship. As the children of heaven, let us quickly preach this good news to Samaria and to the ends of the earth, so that we will be able to praise God our Father and God our Mother forever in the heavenly kingdom of peace, where there will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain.

Proclaim Heavenly Mother - Ahnsahnghong

Proclaim Heavenly Mother, the Source of the Water of Life, to the Whole World!”

ⓒ 2009 WATVOn October 4 (the 15th day of the seventh month in the sacred calendar), the children of Zion, who had been cleansed from sin through the Day of Atonement, participated in the Sacred Assembly of the Feast of Tabernacles in order to receive the blessings of the Holy Spirit of the latter rain.

The Feast of Tabernacles is the last of the seven feasts of three times. This feast origi-nated from the prophetical event that the people of Israel thanked God for His atoning grace and gathered enough materials for the building of the tabernacle where the Ten Commandments would be kept, after they had repented of their sin of idolatry and received the second tablets of the Ten Commandments. In the Old Testament times, the people of Israel gathered olive branches and palm branches and built booths with them, and they lived in the booths for seven days, extending a helping hand to one another and rejoicing together. This feast is fulfilled through preaching to find and gather God’s people represented as all kinds of trees and materials for the tabernacle (Lev 23:33-44; Jer 5:14; Eph 2:20).

In this spiritual harvest season to reap the last of the autumn crops, Mother bestowed the blessings of the Holy Spirit abundantly on Her children so that they would all willingly participate in the work of gathering the spiri-tual materials for the heavenly temple. She also prayed that the enthusiasm for preaching would blaze up like fire throughout the world and the gracious work of finding all the scattered members of the heavenly family would be accomplished quickly.

ⓒ 2009 WATVGeneral Pastor Joo-Cheol Kim encouraged the members, “Let’s participate unitedly in the work of gathering the materials for the heavenly temple through the power of the Holy Spirit, just as those whose hearts moved them volunteered for the work necessary to build the tabernacle in the Old Testament Times” (Ex 35:21-26; Ex 36:1-7). He also urged them to fulfill the mission given to them by boldly proclaiming the glory of Jerusalem the Heavenly Mother to the whole world, saying, “King David prepared all the necessary materials for the construction of the temple, and entrusted the task of building the temple to his son Solomon. This indicates that our Heavenly Father, who came in the name of David, prepared the truth about Heavenly Jerusalem and entrusted the glorious work of completing the spiritual temple to us” (1 Chronicles 22 and 28; Gal 4:26).

For seven days from this day, the members held the preaching festival joyfully while asking God for the power of the spiritual harvest. The delightful news that abundant good fruits were being produced through the refreshing latter rain of the Holy Spirit coming from heaven continued to pour in from around the world. Meanwhile, the members greeted the Last Day of the Feast of Tabernacles on October 11 (the 22nd day of the seventh day in the sacred calendar), the eighth day after the Feast of Tabernacles.

General Pastor Joo-Cheol Kim emphasized, “The Feast of Tabernacles is a feast that helps us to understand that Heavenly Mother is the source of the water of eternal life and of the Holy Spirit of the latter rain,” and urged the members, “Let us come to Jerusalem our Mother, who is the reality of the Most Holy Place, to ask Her for the power of the Holy Spirit, and lead all people around the world who are suffering from spiritual harvest to Mother, the source of the water of life” (Jn 7:37-39; Rev 22:17-19; Zec 14:7-8).

At the afternoon service, Mother poured out the latter rain of the Holy Spirit abundantly upon Her children through Her words of living water. She encouraged the members to “shine the light of life through the Passover all over the world, understanding the signs and prophecies about this age through disasters that are occurring throughout the world.” In addition, She blessed them, saying, “Be good and faithful children of God by giving the food of life to many dying souls and leading them to Zion, so that you can receive much love and reward from Heavenly Father” (Ex 12:10-12; Mt 24:3-14, 44-51; Isa 33:20-22) .

In this age when the wheat is gathered into the heavenly barn according to the prophecy of the Feast of Tabernacles, the members of the Church of God who have received a waterfall-like outpouring of the latter rain of the Holy Spirit are in a hurry to reap the spiritual autumn harvest, in order to quicken the glorious day when the heavenly Jerusalem temple is completed.

Ahnsahnghong- WMC Church of God

Being unable to remain silent without preaching the word of God is the work of the Holy Spirit

We must continue to do what God always tells us, not forgetting what we have heard from God. Our supreme task on this earth is to preach God's word that has power to save human beings, that is, the gospel.

Mt 28:18-20 『Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."』

These were the last words Christ spoke to His disciples on this earth just before He went up to heaven. In other words, these last words of Jesus are like a parent's last will for his children. In the above story, when the father said to his sons in his last will that they would find treasures if they dug up the field diligently, the son who continued to do what his father had said was able to fully realize what the treasure, which his father had spoken of, really meant. Likewise, when God tells us to do something, those who think there must be God's will hidden in it and put it into practice can be blessed.
"Go and teach people of all nations to obey everything I have commanded you." We need to examine ourselves: ‘How faithfully am I carrying out this command of Christ?' God has told us to preach the gospel to the entire world—from Samaria to the ends of the earth. Those who are filled with the Holy Spirit follow the desires of the Spirit. So, they do not stop preaching the Word in any circumstances.

Jer 20:7-13 『O LORD, you deceived me, and I was deceived ; you overpowered me and prevailed. I am ridiculed all day long; everyone mocks me. Whenever I speak, I cry out proclaiming violence and destruction. So the word of the LORD has brought me insult and reproach all day long. But if I say, "I will not mention him or speak any more in his name," his word is in my heart like a fire, a fire shut up in my bones. I am weary of holding it in; indeed, I cannot. I hear many whispering, "Terror on every side! Report him! Let's report him!" All my friends are waiting for me to slip, saying, "Perhaps he will be deceived; then we will prevail over him and take our revenge on him." But the LORD is with me like a mighty warrior; so my persecutors will stumble and not prevail. . . .』

The prophet Jeremiah, moved by the Holy Spirit, proclaimed God's word diligently. People ridiculed and slandered him, and even his friends waited for him to slip and live a secular life. Because of severe persecution he faced whenever he preached God's word, he decided not to proclaim the Word again. However, God's word was in his heart like a fire, and he became weary of holding it—he couldn't. Then he went out to preach God's message again.

This is the life of a prophet. God has given a burning heart to all the prophets—all God's children who are to be saved, so that they cannot hold themselves back from preaching the Word.

The reason Jeremiah was weary of holding God's word in was because of the Holy Spirit that was grieved within him. What is most pleasing to God is to lead dying souls to repentance and salvation. So, if this work of salvation is not processed well, how anxious and grieved God must be!
Unless we have such a burning heart, it is proof that the Holy Spirit has left us. Even until the end of the year, if we bear no fruit or have no will to bear fruit or don't feel anxious, we should reflect on ourselves: ‘What's wrong with me?'

If our hearts are filled with the Holy Spirit, the power of the Holy Spirit is manifested through preaching. Throughout all ages, the power of the Holy Spirit has bloomed and brought forth fruit through preaching.

The Work of the Holy Spirit Is Fulfilled Through Preaching

The Work of the Holy Spirit Is Fulfilled Through Preaching
I believe that all our brothers and sisters in Zion are waiting for the blessings of the Holy Spirit of the latter rain God has promised through the autumn feasts. Just as the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop, looking forward patiently to the autumn and spring rains (Jas 5:7-8), we are waiting for the refreshing rain of the Holy Spirit in order to bear the precious fruits pleasing to God.

In order not to put out the fire of the Holy Spirit but to make the Spirit well up always in our hearts, we should let the water of life flow without remaining stagnant. For this, we must pay attention to the words of the Bible, given by God through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, and put them into practice. Among the words we are to put into action, this time, let's think about the mission of preaching the gospel which God has entrusted to us, His children, in this age.

A ‘hidden treasure' is found when we put God's word into practice

There was once a farmer who had three sons. Before he died, he said to his sons in his last will, "I've hidden many treasures in the field. So, dig up the ground diligently until you find them." After their father's funeral, the three brothers ran to the field, wishing to find the treasures. They expected there would be precious stones or metals such as gold and silver in the field. However, even though they dug up the whole field and searched through it, they didn't find any treasure. The second and youngest sons finally gave up looking for the treasures. However, the eldest son believed that there would be treasures somewhere in the field as his father had said, and continued to dig out every inch of the field. Meanwhile, the harvest season came, and the field produced twice as many crops as usual. While they were digging up the field to find the hidden treasures, the soil was well cultivated, and it brought forth a plentiful harvest.

In this process, the eldest son thought over what the treasures, which his father had spoken of, really were. In actuality, his parents were not rich enough to possess treasures like gold or silver. Nevertheless, his father said in his last will that he had buried some treasures in the field. The son clearly recognized his father's will to make his sons realize that they would reap a rich harvest if they cultivated the land diligently.

‘This is the treasure which father had meant.'

The eldest brother shared this realization with his younger brothers. From that time on, they worked harder, cultivating the field more diligently, so they were able to live a rich and happy life together.

Sometimes we, God's children, fail to fathom the depth of the words that Heavenly Father and Mother have told us. As Father and Mother say, "Preach," some try preaching but give up easily when they feel tired after trying once or twice. On the other hand, some think there must be a certain will of God and run the path of the gospel diligently so that they can live a life without regret, as did Apostle Paul.

In the above story, the sons dug up the field, expecting to find expensive treasures, but what they obtained was not gold or silver but a spiritual heritage that would serve as a treasure for their families from generation to generation. Likewise, the words God has told us contain a lot of blessings. "Preach fervently; pray continually; study the Word diligently; keep the faith; love one another; be united as one." All these commands surely contain God's will for our own good.

When the sons dug up the ground diligently as their father had told them to do, they came to realize what the treasure truly meant. In the same say, when we practice God's words constantly, we can understand God's will contained in His words, although we fail to know the will of God at the beginning of our practice. When God says, "Pray," those who obey the word and pray hard can understand why God tells them to pray. When God says, "Preach fervently," those who preach eagerly can understand God's will contained in His command to preach. When God says, "Study the Word diligently," those who study the Bible hard can understand His grace contained in it.

God’s People Keep God’s Feasts -Ahnsahnghong

God’s People Keep God’s Feasts
As stated above, the Feast of Firstfruits and the Feast of Tabernacles were a shadow, revealing how Jesus would resurrect and how the 144,000—the materials of the heavenly temple—would be gathered in the New Testament times. Thus, it is very difficult for Christians to understand why people celebrate the American-made Thanksgiving Day, claiming that it is related to the Feast of Firstfruits or to the Feast of Tabernacles.

In the New Testament times, the Feast of Firstfruits was fulfilled on Resurrection Day. On Resurrection Day we commemorate Jesus' resurrection and we are reminded of God’s promise to change and to resurrect the saints living in the last days. The Feast of Tabernacles was fulfilled by the Preaching Week of the New Testament times, during which we preach the gospel to find the materials—the saints who are to be saved—for the heavenly temple.

Thanksgiving Day is an American festival, not a Christian feast. It is undoubtedly a man-made custom. A long time ago, Jeroboam, king of Israel, constructed golden calves to prevent his people from going to Jerusalem to keep the feasts of God. He said, "Here are your gods, O Israel, who brought you up out of Egypt," and instituted a feast on the fifteenth day of the eighth month similar to the festival held in Judah. The Bible says that Jeroboam’s actions were viewed as sinful in the eyes of God (1 Kin. 12:25-33). Jesus also spoke concerning this kind of people.

Mark 7:6-8 『He replied, "Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you hypocrites; as it is written: "'These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. They worship me in vain; their teachings are but rules taught by men.' You have let go of the commands of God and are holding on to the traditions of men."』

Many people do not know the prophecies of the Feast of Firstfruits and the Feast of Tabernacles, or how these feasts were fulfilled. Most continue to follow and to proclaim incorrect teachings. They even shout, "Amen!" when these false doctrines are taught. We hope that, under God’s grace, they can realize the true decrees and laws of God.

The Bible says, "My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also reject you as my priests; because you have ignored the law of your God, I also will ignore your children" (Hos. 4:6). This is a warning to those who neglect God's commands and who follow only the commands of men.

Hebrews chapter nine reads, "Now the first covenant had regulations for worship and also an earthly sanctuary" (Heb. 9:1). This verse implies that the second covenant [the new covenant] had regulations for worship and for a heavenly sanctuary. Which covenant is more important? No one denies that the regulations of the new covenant are more important. The feasts and the regulations for worshiping God in the earthly sanctuary are merely a shadow whose reality is the feasts of the new covenant and the heavenly sanctuary, disclosed in the New Testament times.

Only God's people regard the regulations of the new covenant as precious. We pray that many souls will abandon the rules of men, will come to accept the regulations of the new covenant, and thus, will come to truly worship God.

The Key Factor in Deciding an Heir Is "Mother"

The Key Factor in Deciding an Heir Is "Mother"
Let’s study the reason why God chose Isaac to be Abraham’s heir.

Both Eliezer’s father and his mother were slaves, neither of them was free. This is the reason why God did not allow him to be Abraham’s heir. Ishmael’s father, Abraham, was free, but his mother, Hagar, was a slave and not a free woman. This is why God could not allow Ishmael to become Abraham’s heir. Isaac’s father, Abraham, was a free man, and his mother, Sarah, was a free woman. The fact that Isaac had been born of a free woman was the big difference between Ishmael and Isaac, and this discrepancy became the key factor in choosing Abraham’s heir.

In those days, the eldest son inherited all of his family’s property. Since Ishmael was older than Isaac, he should have become the heir—that is, if God had made His decision according to the paternal line. Ishmael was not chosen to become Abraham’s heir, even though he was Abraham’s eldest son, because his mother was not a free woman, but a slave. Thus, it is clear that the decisive factor in choosing Abraham’s heir was his mother.

What we need to focus on while studying the history of Abraham’s family is not merely the story of a man and his family. As you know, the Bible is not a storybook to tell us of men and their families. Nevertheless, God repeatedly mentioned the story of this particular family. Actually, the history of Abraham was a shadow of what was to happen in the future. In order for us to know who could become God’s heir, the story of Abraham’s family was written, as a prophecy.

Therefore, through the history of Abraham’s family, we can clearly understand that the decisive factor in choosing an heir is the mother. As Isaac became Abraham’s heir through Sarah, his free mother, we can become God’s heirs through our heavenly Mother, who is a free woman. Only those who believe in the heavenly Mother—only the children who are born through the new covenant—can inherit the heavenly Father’s kingdom. Let us read one more verse testifying about the heavenly Mother.

Gal. 4:22-31 『...But the Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother...Now you, brothers, like Isaac, are children of promise. At that time the son born in the ordinary way persecuted the son born by the power of the Spirit. It is the same now. But what does the Scripture say? "Get rid of the slave woman and her son, for the slave woman's son will never share in the inheritance with the free woman's son." Therefore, brothers, we are not children of the slave woman, but of the free woman.』

The Bible declares that we are not children of the slave woman, but of the free woman. Ishmael could not inherit his father’s estate because his mother, Hagar, was only a slave, not a free woman. On the other hand, Isaac was chosen to become Abraham’s heir because his mother, Sarah, was a free woman. The Bible also testifies that we, like Isaac, are the children of promise, the children of the heavenly Mother, who is free.

In today’s world, there are three types of people: those who are like Eliezer, those like Ishmael, and those who are like Isaac. The first type of people, who are like Eliezer, are atheists, who do not believe in Father God or in Mother God. The second type of people, who are like Ishmael, are those who believe in Father God, but do not believe in Mother God. The third type of people, who are like Isaac, are those who believe in Mother God as well as Father God. According to the history of Abraham’s family, which one of these three types can become an heir of the kingdom of heaven? Only the third type of people, who are like Isaac, can be recognized as God’s heirs. There is no doubt about it.

Which group of people do you want to be classified with? If you want to be like Isaac, you must first become a child of the free woman. Thus, you must accept the heavenly Mother, who is free. The Bible testifies to this fact.

God said, "My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge" (Hos. 4:6). What kind of knowledge is God referring to in this verse? We must recognize that we have a God the Mother, as well as a God the Father. We must accept Elohim God. Also, we must firmly believe that God is our Mother, who gives us salvation alongside our Father. Only after we come to realize this can we say that we have the knowledge of God, and that we will not be those who are destroyed from a "lack of knowledge."

The Bible testifies that the Holy Spirit is God Ahnsahnghong, and that the Bride is Jerusalem Mother. Let us accept God Ahnsahnghong, the Holy Spirit, and Jerusalem Mother, the Bride, who give us the water of life in these last days, so that we can enter the kingdom of heaven.

The Meaning of the Sabbath - Ahnsahnghong

The Meaning of the Sabbath
Until a ceramic ware is completed, it requires many processes such as molding a figure out of clay, baking it, putting glaze on it, placing it in a kiln, and so on. In the same way, until a life is born, it takes a process of being created in the womb for nine months.

The process of effort is required to complete something in this visible, physical world. Likewise, in the spiritual world, God continues to work to make us perfect. Every Sabbath day, God blesses us and gives us new strength so that we may not be lacking in anything as citizens of heaven. Thinking of the love of God, let's remind ourselves of the meaning and significance of the Sabbath.

Keeping the Sabbath changes spiritual sinners to be holy

We were born on this earth because we sinned in heaven. So, Jesus said He came to this earth to seek and save the lost.

Mt 9:13 『" . . . For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners."』

Lk 19:10 『"For the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost."』

Jesus used to pray very early in the morning, and He never stopped preaching to find the lost. It was because the ultimate purpose of Christ's life on this earth was to save human beings.

As Jesus said He came to save the "lost," we were originally angels who used to be with Jesus in the kingdom of heaven. The book of Isaiah definitely shows us what kind of sin we committed in heaven.

Isa 14:12-14 『How you have fallen from heaven, O morning star, son of the dawn! You have been cast down to the earth, you who once laid low the nations! You said in your heart, "I will ascend to heaven; I will raise my throne above the stars of God; I will sit enthroned on the mount of assembly, on the utmost heights of the sacred mountain. I will ascend above the tops of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High."』

Lucifer, son of the dawn, harbored an evil intent to raise his throne above that of God and make himself like the Most High. In other words, Satan, the devil, became a criminal opposing God and numerous angels who were tempted by Satan joined him in his rebellion against God. As a result, they were all cast down to this earth. We are the spiritual sinners who lost our discretion and opposed God unknowingly. So, our supreme task on this earth is to receive the forgiveness of sins so that we can go back to heaven.

God established a covenant to bring us back to our senses and restore us to our original state. The Sabbath is a covenant God has made with us, human beings, which is one of God's commandments.

Ge 2:1-3 『Thus the heavens and the earth were completed in all their vast array. By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work. And God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done.』

Ex 20:8-11 『"Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. . . . For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy."』

The Sabbath is a day God made His promise to make His people holy and to give them blessings from the creation of the world. It is also a day given as an opportunity for us to commemorate the authority of the Creator and to understand God correctly. On this holy day, God cleanses us from our sin and rebellion we committed against God unknowingly and purifies our hearts.

God has given us the Sabbath as the fourth of the Ten Commandments, and told us not to forget the Sabbath day but remember it by keeping it holy. When we are made holy and pure by keeping the Sabbath, we can restore our spiritual senses and come to salvation, resisting the temptation of Lucifer, son of the dawn. God continues to make us holy every Sabbath day, even while we are unaware of it.

The Sabbath is a sign between God and His people

The Sabbath is a precious law given only to the people of God. God distin-guishes His people from others and consecrates them through the Sabbath.

Ex 31:13-15 『"Say to the Israelites, ‘You must observe my Sabbaths. This will be a sign between me and you for the generations to come, so you may know that I am the LORD, who makes you holy. Observe the Sabbath, because it is holy to you. Anyone who desecrates it must be put to death; whoever does any work on that day must be cut off from his people. For six days, work is to be done, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of rest, holy to the LORD. Whoever does any work on the Sabbath day must be put to death.' "』

In the Old Testament times, God commanded the Israelites to kill anyone who desecrated the Sabbath. This shows God's definite will for the Sabbath, and also contains God's intention to save us by consecrating us.

Therefore, the Sabbath is one of God's commandments, which we must not forget or neglect. God has given us the Sabbath not to trouble us, but to give us life by reminding us of the spiritual state we were in when we were tempted by Lucifer and giving us insight into what is sin and what is righteousness and good.

Eze 20:11-12 『"I gave them my decrees and made known to them my laws, for the man who obeys them will live by them. Also I gave them my Sabbaths as a sign between us, so they would know that I the LORD made them holy."』

The Sabbath is a definite sign for recognizing God's people. By keeping the Sabbath, God's people come to know God who makes them holy, and God acknowledges those who keep the Sabbath as His people.

God blesses the people who remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy and opens the way for them to enter eternal rest. So, without keeping the Sabbath, no one can receive the blessing of eternal life or salvation. Keeping in mind the importance of the Sabbath which is a sign between God and us, we should have fellowship with God in godliness and honor God as His people.

Satan opposes God by hindering people from keeping the Sabbath

God has established the law of the Sabbath to save us, but Satan the devil deceives the souls by lies in order to lead even one more soul to death. As a result, so many people in the world have lost their discretion, and they have been despising God's law and neglecting the law of life established by God.

Eze 20:16 『"because they rejected my laws and did not follow my decrees and desecrated my Sabbaths. For their hearts were devoted to their idols."』

Eze 22:23-27 『Again the word of the LORD came to me: " . . . There is a conspiracy of her princes within her like a roaring lion tearing its prey; they devour people, take treasures and precious things and make many widows within her. Her priests do violence to my law and profane my holy things; they do not distinguish between the holy and the common; they teach that there is no difference between the unclean and the clean; and they shut their eyes to the keeping of my Sabbaths, so that I am profaned among them. Her officials within her are like wolves tearing their prey; they shed blood and kill people to make unjust gain."』

False prophets who violate the laws of God are trying to devour people's souls like roaring lions or wolves. They have even changed the laws and regulations established by God, and are hindering God's providence of salvation and tempting people around the world not to have the right mindset of faith. God is greatly enraged against them.

God says He is profaned among those who do not keep the Sabbath while claiming to believe in Him. 2,000 years ago, when Jesus came to this earth in order to save human beings, the chief priests, the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, who claimed to believe in God, insulted Jesus and persecuted Him. The same thing happens even in this age. So-called Christian leaders denounce God as a heretic and treat God's people who keep the commandments of God as those who walk the wrong path of faith.

Those who despise the Sabbath and desecrate it cannot obtain the correct wisdom and knowledge of God no matter how long they have attended church. Once they are deceived by Satan, they are unable to get out of him by themselves. It is because they can't have the right understanding of God until they are enlightened to their mistakes and sins through God's laws and are made holy.

Da 7:24-25 『"The ten horns are ten kings who will come from this kingdom. After them another king will arise, different from the earlier ones; he will subdue three kings. He will speak against the Most High and oppress his saints and try to change the set times and the laws. The saints will be handed over to him for a time, times and half a time."』

Lucifer, son of the dawn, opposed God the Most High and tempted many of the angels in heaven. On this earth, too, he still tempts many people and leads them to oppose God and dishonors God. Today, so many churches around the world, claiming to serve God, keep Sunday, and even though some of them adopt the Sabbath as a day of worship, they do not actually keep the Sabbath of the Bible. We need to discern what kind of people in this age are spiritually like those who ridiculed and persecuted Jesus 2,000 years ago.

The commands of God are radiant, giving light to the eyes (Ps 19:8). We can discern if a church follows the Bible through whether or not it keeps the Sabbath, and we can also understand what kind of people God leads to the path of salvation.

The apostles followed Jesus, the Lord of the Sabbath

God is the source of our faith. When we follow God's teachings and examples exactly, we can be said to have true faith.

Mt 12:6-8 『". . . For the Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath."』

Jesus says that He is the Lord of the Sabbath who has established the Sabbath and given it to us. In the days of the early Church, Jesus personally showed the example of keeping the Sabbath as was His custom. It's because the Sabbath serves as a standard for discerning the will of God rightly.

Lk 4:16-21 『He went to Nazareth, where he had been brought up, and on the Sabbath day he went into the synagogue, as was his custom. And he stood up to read. The scroll of the prophet Isaiah was handed to him. Unrolling it, he found the place where it is written: "The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor." . . .』

The Sabbath is a law of Jesus. Through the Sabbath, God cleanses our hearts and souls from all impurities and promises that we will be able to store up more gracious and greater blessings in the invisible spiritual world. Through this power which we cannot see with our eyes or feel with our hands, the kingdom of God advances and the way to salvation is opened.

So, the apostles, following Jesus' example, kept the Sabbath every week.

Ac 17:2-3 『As his custom was, Paul went into the synagogue, and on three Sabbath days he reasoned with them from the Scriptures, explaining and proving that the Christ had to suffer and rise from the dead. "This Jesus I am proclaiming to you is the Christ," he said.』

Ac 18:4 『Every Sabbath he reasoned in the synagogue, trying to persuade Jews and Greeks.』

Every Sabbath day, we receive God's teachings through the Bible. So did the Apostle Paul. Every Sabbath, he preached the Word in the synagogue and persuaded the people there. Moreover, Jesus says in the book of Matthew, "Pray that your flight will not take place in winter or on the Sabbath." By saying that, Jesus tells us that the Sabbath must be remembered and observed even until the Day of Judgment (Mt 24:20-21).

We should hold fast to the Sabbath, which God has given us as a law of life. If God's promise through the Sabbath were not given to us, we would be in the darkness of Babylon and walk in blind faith, not knowing the love and blessings granted by God.

God tells us, His people, to come out of Babylon quickly, so that we will not share in her sins and will not receive any of her plagues (Rev 18:4). We, who have heard God's calling and come back to Zion, should give more thanks and glory to Elohim who bless us in Zion through the Sabbath. In addition, we should run to the people who misunderstand that they serve God rightly, while they do not keep the Sabbath, and let them know that Heavenly Father and Mother, the Lords of the Sabbath, have come down to this earth, so that they can be cleansed from all impurities with the water of life.

Church of God believe in Christ Ahnsahnghong and God the Mother!

Elohim Will Appear in Their Own Time

Elohim Will Appear in Their Own Time
God promised that He would appear according to His own timing (1 Tim. 6:15). Let us confirm what form He will appear in.

Rev. 22:17 『The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And let him who hears say, "Come!" Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life.』

For our salvation, God always referred to Himself as "us," and then Elohim God appeared—as the Holy Spirit and the Bride—to give us the water of life. In the first book of Timothy, it is written that God alone is immortal and lives in unapproachable light (1 Tim. 6:16). Thus, only the Spirit and the Bride—the Second Coming Christ, Ahnsahnghong, and the New Jerusalem Mother—are immortal and only They have life. Nevertheless, some people boast that they, also, have the power to give life. The people who make such assumptions are greatly mistaken. The Bible says that no one can have life until he or she eats the flesh of the Son of Man and drinks His blood (John 6:53), and Jesus said, "Follow me, and let the dead bury their own dead" (Matt. 8:22). Mere human beings, such as ourselves, cannot say that we are alive.

There is no life in us, so we must go to God—Christ Ahnsahnghong and Mother—if we want to receive eternal life and salvation, because They are the only ones who have life. In order to give the everlasting water of life to mortal beings, God came down to this earth in this last age as the Holy Spirit, Ahnsahnghong, and the Bride, the New Jerusalem Mother. People who pervert or deny this Biblical teaching will never be able to enter the kingdom of heaven.

Elohim God Revealed in the Book of Jeremiah

Elohim God Revealed in the Book of Jeremiah

In the book of Jeremiah we can also find references to Elohim God. Jer. 31:22 『…The LORD will create a new thing on earth—a woman will surround a man.』

God said that He would create a new thing: a woman would surround a man. Spiritually, this verse has a very profound meaning. The woman, Eve, had once been inside the man. If God had not made the woman with the ribs He had taken out of the man, how could the woman have been able to surround the man? The new thing, that God said He would bring to the earth, would be the revealing of Mother, who has been within God the Father since the beginning. The new thing would be created at the time God established the new covenant.

Jer. 31:31-34 『"The time is coming," declares the LORD, "when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah…"I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people. No longer will a man teach his neighbor, or a man his brother, saying, 'Know the LORD,' because they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest."』

In the Hebrew Bible, the word "God" is actually written as "Elohim"—"I will be their God [Elohim]." "Elohim" is the plural form of the word "Eloah," meaning a singular God. Therefore, "Elohim" means "Gods," plural. Once we can understand the concept of Elohim God through the new covenant, we no longer need men to teach us to know God, because we will all know God, from the least of us to the greatest. In the truth of the new covenant, we can only become the children of God when we have God the Father and God the Mother, our Elohim God. When Elohim God created male and female, They said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness." When Elohim God punished the evil acts of God's people, They said, "Let us go down." When the Gods called to Isaiah, They said, "Who will go for us?" Throughout the Bible, God has existed as the male God and the female God: Elohim.
