The Most High-Ahnsahnghong - God the Mother -Church of God world mission society

The Most High-Ahnsahnghong

Our dailly lives are led silently by God. God is the power which makes our universe run-all the way from the massive binary systems in our galaxies to the movement and perpetuation of the fluttering wings of a butterfly. God is in control. For this we give thanks. Because without God where would we be?

Genesis 1:26 "God said, "let us make man in our image and in our likeness..." God planned to make humankind male and female after His (Their) own image.

God is not only Father but also Mother.

Heavenly Mother, just like our mothers on earth, gives us birth, life, love, and sacrifice. God who is in control gave us mothers on earth to show us that we have a heavenly Mother.

The Key Factor in Deciding an Heir Is "Mother" -Church of God world mission society

Let’s study the reason why God chose Isaac to be Abraham’s heir.

Both Eliezer’s father and his mother were slaves, neither of them was free. This is the reason why God did not allow him to be Abraham’s heir. Ishmael’s father, Abraham, was free, but his mother, Hagar, was a slave and not a free woman. This is why God could not allow Ishmael to become Abraham’s heir. Isaac’s father, Abraham, was a free man, and his mother, Sarah, was a free woman. The fact that Isaac had been born of a free woman was the big difference between Ishmael and Isaac, and this discrepancy became the key factor in choosing Abraham’s heir.

In those days, the eldest son inherited all of his family’s property. Since Ishmael was older than Isaac, he should have become the heir—that is, if God had made His decision according to the paternal line. Ishmael was not chosen to become Abraham’s heir, even though he was Abraham’s eldest son, because his mother was not a free woman, but a slave. Thus, it is clear that the decisive factor in choosing Abraham’s heir was his mother.

What we need to focus on while studying the history of Abraham’s family is not merely the story of a man and his family. As you know, the Bible is not a storybook to tell us of men and their families. Nevertheless, God repeatedly mentioned the story of this particular family. Actually, the history of Abraham was a shadow of what was to happen in the future. In order for us to know who could become God’s heir, the story of Abraham’s family was written, as a prophecy.

Therefore, through the history of Abraham’s family, we can clearly understand that the decisive factor in choosing an heir is the mother. As Isaac became Abraham’s heir through Sarah, his free mother, we can become God’s heirs through our heavenly Mother, who is a free woman. Only those who believe in the heavenly Mother—only the children who are born through the new covenant—can inherit the heavenly Father’s kingdom. Let us read one more verse testifying about the heavenly Mother.

Gal. 4:22-31 『...But the Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother...Now you, brothers, like Isaac, are children of promise. At that time the son born in the ordinary way persecuted the son born by the power of the Spirit. It is the same now. But what does the Scripture say? "Get rid of the slave woman and her son, for the slave woman's son will never share in the inheritance with the free woman's son." Therefore, brothers, we are not children of the slave woman, but of the free woman.』

The Bible declares that we are not children of the slave woman, but of the free woman. Ishmael could not inherit his father’s estate because his mother, Hagar, was only a slave, not a free woman. On the other hand, Isaac was chosen to become Abraham’s heir because his mother, Sarah, was a free woman. The Bible also testifies that we, like Isaac, are the children of promise, the children of the heavenly Mother, who is free.

In today’s world, there are three types of people: those who are like Eliezer, those like Ishmael, and those who are like Isaac. The first type of people, who are like Eliezer, are atheists, who do not believe in Father God or in Mother God. The second type of people, who are like Ishmael, are those who believe in Father God, but do not believe in Mother God. The third type of people, who are like Isaac, are those who believe in Mother God as well as Father God. According to the history of Abraham’s family, which one of these three types can become an heir of the kingdom of heaven? Only the third type of people, who are like Isaac, can be recognized as God’s heirs. There is no doubt about it.

Which group of people do you want to be classified with? If you want to be like Isaac, you must first become a child of the free woman. Thus, you must accept the heavenly Mother, who is free. The Bible testifies to this fact.

God said, "My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge" (Hos. 4:6). What kind of knowledge is God referring to in this verse? We must recognize that we have a God the Mother, as well as a God the Father. We must accept Elohim God. Also, we must firmly believe that God is our Mother, who gives us salvation alongside our Father. Only after we come to realize this can we say that we have the knowledge of God, and that we will not be those who are destroyed from a "lack of knowledge."

The Bible testifies that the Holy Spirit is God Ahnsahnghong, and that the Bride is Jerusalem Mother. Let us accept God Ahnsahnghong, the Holy Spirit, and Jerusalem Mother, the Bride, who give us the water of life in these last days, so that we can enter the kingdom of heaven.

Isaac, the Heir of Abraham - God the Mother-Church of God World mission society

Isaac, the Heir of Abraham

Then, let us find out who was appointed as Abraham’s heir. There were three candidates who could have been chosen as the heir of Abraham: Eliezer, Ishmael, and Isaac. Among them, who became Abraham’s heir? It was Isaac who was appointed. We need to understand the reason why Isaac was chosen to be Abraham’s heir.

Gen. 15:1-4 『...But Abram said, "O Sovereign LORD, what can you give me since I remain childless and the one who will inherit my estate is Eliezer of Damascus?" And Abram said, "You have given me no children; so a servant in my household will be my heir." Then the word of the LORD came to him: "This man will not be your heir, but a son coming from your own body will be your heir."』

When Abraham was an old man and had not yet borne a son, he asked God to allow his servant Eliezer to be his heir. However, God did not allow Eliezer to become Abraham’s heir, revealing that a son would be born from Abraham’s own body and that he would become his heir.

Some time later, Hagar, Sarah’s maidservant, bore Abraham a son: Ishmael.

Gen. 16:1-15 『Now Sarai, Abram's wife, had borne him no children. But she had an Egyptian maidservant named Hagar; so she said to Abram, "The LORD has kept me from having children. Go, sleep with my maidservant; perhaps I can build a family through her." Abram agreed to what Sarai said...So Hagar bore Abram a son, and Abram gave the name Ishmael to the son she had borne.』Ishmael was born to Abraham through a maidservant named Hagar, and Abraham asked God to allow Ishmael to become his heir.

Gen. 17:18-19 『And Abraham said to God, "If only Ishmael might live under your blessing!" Then God said, "Yes, but your wife Sarah will bear you a son, and you will call him Isaac. I will establish my covenant with him as an everlasting covenant for his descendants after him.』 When Abraham said to God, "If only Ishmael might live under your blessing," God did not allow Ishmael to become his heir. Instead, God promised Abraham that he would have a son through his wife, Sarah. Isaac was born as God had promised, and of the three—Eliezer, Ishmael, and Isaac—Isaac was chosen to be Abraham’s heir.

The History of Abraham’s Family and Mother- church of God world mission society

The History of Abraham’s Family and Mother
The character Abraham is used to represent God in the Bible. Through the history of Abraham's family, God has revealed to us how we can inherit the kingdom of heaven.

Isaac was the one who received Abraham's inheritance. Even though Abraham had another son named Ishmael, born through Hagar, God did not allow Ishmael to receive the inheritance of Abraham.

Rather, God bestowed the inheritance upon Isaac, who was born through Sarah. The reason why Isaac was chosen as Abraham's heir was that Isaac was the son of Sarah, who was free.

This history shows us that the heavenly inheritance will be given to those who are born of the heavenly Mother, who is free.

Christ Ahnsahnghong taught us that our heavenly Mother does in fact exist and that She is truly the biggest mystery hidden within the Bible. Let us study "The History of Abraham's Family and Mother," taught to us by Christ Ahnsahnghong.

Abraham Represents God
First of all, we need to recognize who the character Abraham represents in the Bible. Luke 16:19-31 『"...The time came when the beggar died and the angels carried him to Abraham's side. The rich man also died and was buried. In hell, where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far away, with Lazarus by his side. So he calledto him, 'Father Abraham...' "』

As you know, this parable is about a beggar, named Lazarus, and a rich man. The parable tells of Lazarus, who died and was carried to heaven, and a rich man, who was sent to hell to be tormented. Lazarus was obviously carried to God's side after he had died; however, the Bible states that Lazarus traveled to Abraham's side.
In the parable, the rich man, who went to hell, called up to God in the distance; however, the Bible states that the man saw Abraham, and called up to him, saying, "Father Abraham." Who is the only one who is worthy to be called "Father" in the spiritual world? God is the only one who can be called upon in this way. Then, whom does Abraham represent?

Logically, the character Abraham was chosen to represent God. Therefore, the inheritance of Abraham can be likened to the inheritance of God, the kingdom of heaven.

Elohim God - Church of God world mission society

Let us confirm that there is both a male and a female image of God, through the book of Genesis.

Gen. 1:26-27 『Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness,"…So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.』

Both males and females were created in the image of God, and thus it is clear that God has two images: a male image and a female image. When God said, "Let us make man in our image," God used the word "us"—a plural term—instead of using "me." We come to understand that not one God, but two Gods—a Father and a Mother—worked together during the Creation. Such plural terms are used to describe God in Genesis chapter 11, also.

Gen. 11:1-7 『…The LORD said…"Come, let us go down and confuse their language so they will not understand each other."』

This verse, too, makes reference to Elohim God, the same God who created male and female (in Genesis chapter 1), saying, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness." In Genesis chapter 11, God was responding to the arrogance of the people, who had collectively built the tower of Babel. Through this situation, God testifies that there exists a God the Mother as well as a God the Father by saying, "Let us go down…"

Baptism and the Book of Life -Church of God is not cult

Jesus said, "No one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit.
" To be "born again" means to be born a second time?
being born of the Spirit (John 3:1-8).
As one's name is recorded in the census when he is born, so is one's name written in the book of life after he is born again of the Spirit.
Therefore, when someone is baptized, his name is written in the Church's book of life, and most importantly, is also written in the book of life in heaven.

Matt. 16:19 『"I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven."』
Like this, when one's name is written in the book of life on earth, it is also written in the book of life in heaven.

The Apostle Paul said:
1 Cor. 4:15 『...for in Christ Jesus I became your father through the gospel.』 Phil. 3:20 『But our citizenship is in heaven.』

Phil. 4:3 『Yes, and I ask you, loyal yokefellow, help these women who have contended at my side in the cause of the gospel, along with Clement and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the book of life.』

And Jesus said:
Luke 10:20 『"However, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven."』

Ps. 69:27-28 『Charge them with crime upon crime; do not let them share in your salvation. May they be blotted out of the book of life and not be listed with the righteous.』

Even if we diligently believe in God, unless our names are written in the book of life, we can never enter the kingdom of heaven.

As it is written:
Rev. 20:15 『If anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.』

Rev. 21:27 『Nothing impure will ever enter it, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb's book of life.』

Isa. 4:3-4 『Those who are left in Zion, who remain in Jerusalem, will be called holy, all who are recorded among the living in Jerusalem. The Lord will wash away the filth of the women of Zion; he will cleanse the bloodstains from Jerusalem by a spirit of judgment and a spirit of fire.』

The prophet Daniel wrote:
Dan. 12:1 『"At that time Michael, the great prince who protects your people, will arise. There will be a time of distress such as has not happened from the beginning of nations until then. But at that time your people?everyone whose name is found written in the book?will be delivered."』

But David, the writer of Psalms, wrote:
Ps. 69:27-28 『Charge them with crime upon crime; do not let them share in your salvation. May they be blotted out of the book of life and not be listed with the righteous.』

Even though someone's name has been written in the book of life, his name will be blotted out of the book of life if he commits the unforgivable sin.

Rev. 3:5-6 『"He who overcomes will, like them, be dressed in white. I will never blot out his name from the book of life, but will acknowledge his name before my Father and his angels."』

Through baptism, we receive the forgiveness of our sins, our names are written in the book of life in heaven, and we are born again with a new life, just as Jesus was raised from the dead. That is why we are baptized.

If we have not been baptized, we cannot keep the Passover, and unless we keep the Passover, our names cannot be written in the book of life. We must be baptized, and then keep the Passover, so that we can escape the last plagues and enter the eternal kingdom of heaven.

False Prophets

False Prophets

False prophets are the prophets who were not sent by God. They dislike the things of God and they do not know the seven feasts in three times—which include the Sabbath day and the Passover of the new covenant. These feasts were established by Jesus Christ and restored in this age by Christ Ahnsahnghong. Just as religious leaders hated Jesus 2,000 years ago, false prophets do not love God, even though they claim that they do. True prophets lead people to salvation by teaching them the truth of God, but false prophets lead people to destruction. The Bible describes the punishment that awaits the false prophets, and it warns us that even those who are deceived by the false prophets will be destroyed. We must be able to recognize who the false prophets are.

Jesus warned us to be careful of false prophets who would appear to deceive many people in the last days.

Matt. 7:15 『"Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves."』
Christ also revealed to us that false prophets would never be able to enter the kingdom of heaven, even if they had prophesied and prayed in the name of the Lord.

Matt. 7:21-23 『"Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?' Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!'』 (In the NASB, "evildoers" reads, "[those] who practice lawlessness.")

If a prophet cannot enter the kingdom of heaven, even after prophesying in the name of Jesus, he is proven to be a false prophet. Since it is written that many will say to Jesus, "Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name?" we can confirm that there will be numerous false prophets living in the last days.
Through the above words, we can also understand that false prophets are the people who do not follow the will of God, practicing lawlessness. Then, what is lawlessness? "Lawlessness" is "the practice of not keeping God’s laws." As we have studied, the laws of God include the Sabbath day and the Passover. Therefore, those who forsake the laws of God, teaching Sunday service and Christmas, are the false prophets. These false prophets will be thrown into the fiery furnace in the end, as was prophesied in the Bible.

Matt. 13:41-42 『 "The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will weed out of his kingdom everything that causes sin and all who do evil. They will throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth."』

Is Church of God Cult? - Church of God World Missio society

Church of God is not Cult but True Church!!

Sometimes, senseless people blame the true Church, calling it "heresy(Cult)," when the number of the heresy(Cult)-believers surpasses that of truth-believers. 1) Jesus, too, was treated as a heretic The Jewish people who lived two thousand years ago referred to Christianity as the "Nazarene sect,"persecuting Christians for following Jesus, who was from Nazareth (Acts 24:5).

Regarding Him as a heretic, the Jews tried to kill Jesus many times.

John 8:59 『At this, they picked up stones to stone him, but Jesus hid himself, slipping away from the temple grounds.』

John 10:30-31 『"I and the Father are one." Again the Jews picked up stones to stone him...』

John 11:53 『So from that day on they plotted to take his life.』

The religious leaders of that time, who regarded Jesus as a heretic, had not recognized their sin until they handed Him over to be crucified.

They believed that their actions were just, even faithful to God, and they boldly shouted, "Let his blood be on us and on our children!"(Matt. 27: 23-25).

When God appears in the flesh, He is still God, not a man; however, the people thought that Jesus’divinity was only self-proclaimed.

When Jesus asked the Jews why they wanted to stone Him, they answered very confidently, "We are not stoning you for any of these, but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God"(John 10:33). By their actions, the Jews treated Jesus as if he had been a heretic. 2)

Jesus’disciples were also called heretics Do you think that the people who condemned Jesus, by claiming that He was a heretic, acknowledged His disciples? When the Apostles preached the gospel, the Jews denounced them, too.
They assumed that the disciples were only heretics who had worshipped Jesus, the son of a carpenter, and had fabricated His divinity.

The disciples, who proclaimed that Jesus was the Christ, were flogged (Acts 5:40), chased (Acts 9:23-25), and even stoned to death (Acts 7:59).

Acts 24:1-9 『"We have found this man to be a troublemaker, stirring up riots among the Jews all over the world. He is a ringleader of the Nazarene sect."』

Acts 7:59-60 『While they were stoning him, Stephen prayed..."Lord, do not hold this sin against them."When he had said this, he fell asleep [died].』 3)

A present-day view of heresy When a deacon of the Protestant church first heard the truth, he asked the pastor of the Protestant church, "I happen to know of a church that proclaims that the Sabbath day is Saturday, not Sunday, and that the 25th of December is not the birthday of Jesus. Are this church’s teachings correct?"
The pastor’s answer was ridiculous,
"Biblically, the Sabbath day is Saturday, and the 25th of December is not the birthday of Jesus, but any church that keeps the Sabbath and does not celebrate Christmas is heretical.

"What does his answer mean? His standard of judgment is not the Bible, but the doctrine of his own denomination.

Since Jesus and His disciples kept the Sabbath day and did not celebrate Christmas, were they heretics?

Today, people accuse those who follow the teachings of Jesus, calling them heretics. They use the same arguments as those who denounced Jesus as a heretic.
